The Purpose and Mission of the
House of David Children's Ministry
The House of David Children's Ministry exists for the purpose of assisting parents in leading their children into a relationship with God through Yeshua Hamashiach. We will accomplish this purpose by providing a firm spiritual foundation that will help them to grow in that relationship and that will prepare them to answer the call of God on their lives.
Our mission is to equip the children of the House of David to impact the nations for the kingdom of God.
Our vision for the House of David Children's Ministry is to ensure that:
- Every child of the House of David will have a place where they feel loved and that they are valuable to God and to their "mishpocha".
- Every child will enter into a growing relationship with Yeshua Hamashiach, God and the Holy Spirit.
- Every child will learn about the Lord through age specific teaching of His Word; acquiring the spiritual disciplines necessary to prepare them for adulthood, answering the call of God and interacting with their fellow man.
- Every child will learn to pray and to praise and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth with all the power and authority belonging to King's Kids.
- Every child will discover and learn to use their spiritual gifts to serve the kingdom of God.
- Every child will learn about their Jewish roots and how to celebrate the feasts of the Lord.
- Every parent will be blessed with a child who has a vibrant relationship with the Lord; understanding that spiritual instruction begins at home and receiving instruction and support to accomplish this.
