Dr. Negiel Bigpond

Friday and Saturday, December 9-10, 2005. Dr. Negiel Bigpond was the featured guest at the weekend's spiritual warfare conference. Dr. Bigpond's message was that we are Warriors and God has a new heavenly name for each of us. His prayer, confirmed by Curt Landry, was that God would give to each of us a Vision with our new Warrior Name. He began his teaching reminding of us the Native American song, "Always Go Forward, Never Look Back." This song is sung over people to release a warring spirit. "As we are born again, we begin to develop our warring spirit....God hates it when we lose our warring spirit...We give up," he warned.

Seven Principles of the Spirit of a Warrior

1. Everyone has a built in ability to a warrior. Environment keeps us from being a warrior.
2. As we listen to prophets, we begin to feel like a warrior. As we discover our warring spirit it helps us discover who we are in Christ.
3. We begin to discover the truth about ourselves, our true nature, as the warrior spirit grows.
4. When we serve in God's army, we serve the world. And as we serve the Lord, we find our gifts.
5. We discover our gifts and weapons that we will deploy to war with.
6. A warrior is one who knows himself. He is not always trying to prove himself.
7. A warrior will allow himself to be exposed to what he is called to be. Moses was called to deliver people out of captivity. We need to learn the name the Lord calls us and be that name. Yeshua was called this name and He was this name. ONE WHO SAVES. In the Native American culture it is believed that you are what your name is and you do what you are called.

Saturday, December 10, 2005. Dr. Bigpond spoke on the commissioning of the "Warrior Power Towers." He defined warfare in the spiritual realm as the time when God is calling His warriors together in heaven and earth. He referred to the tribal song of never looking back, when explaining that in that Euchee Tribe it is a dishonor to look back. In the circle of life, things come around again. You return to the place where you started once healing takes place in the sojourn of life. At that place, you regain what was stolen. Justice is returned.

We are reminded to repent for the kingdom of God is near.To repent is to turn away from, a release, a renewal of the mind, a new way to think. Repenting heals both sides of a wrong. The one who has sinned and also the one who was wronged. The root word "pent" means a high place or the top. The prefix "re" means to turn back. Thus repent having a literal meaning of to turn to the high place. Return to the high place where you belong. God is calling endtime warriors to the house of the high place for instruction and guidance.

Dr. Negiel Bigpond explained that accepting our commissioning from God allows us to walk in His favor. Acts 2:47, "...praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily..." Luke 2:52, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man." Favor is a supreme relationship with the almighty.

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe," Proverbs 18:10. When we accept our commissioning, which is a release to walk in the power and authority God has given to us as His children, we become the "power towers" He intends for us to become. God is pleased to activate the Word spoken from those who are walking in His favor.

Friday, April 28, 2006, A Sacred Assembly, Speakers Dr. John Benefiel and Dr. Negiel Bigpond
There is a spirit of sorrow over the land that brings offenses and anger. Dr. Bigpond, a co-founder of Two Rivers Native American Training Center, taught that a covenant is a "till death do us part" agreement, a willingness to die for one another. The broken promises between the government and the Native people of this land has caused the land and people to live in a place of sorrow. Psalm 18:1-20, which Dr. Bigpond titles a "Victory Song From David," is a picture of the Deliverer bringing His people from the snares of the enemy into an open place. The Lord rewarded those with clean hands.

Dr. Bigpond was also a guest speaker at the Passover 2007 and Pentecost 2007 Tent of Meetings.
